Upcoming Events:

For Student Events, students can sign up with Mrs. Fukuda (dfukuda@rjusd.org through email or google chat)

• Monday February 24 - In Senior Economics and AP Government Classes - Last Minute Help with Financial Aid applications & scholarship questions

• Monday February 24 - Health Science Program presentation by Fresno State during lunch in room 30 and AVID 12 during 5th period

• Thursday February 27 - Fresno State Advisor in library from 9am - 12:30pm to meet with seniors or juniors

• Thursday February 27 - Out-of-State College Fair & Fresno State with college reps to answer questions and share their programs. Schools include: Fresno State and 4 OOS colleges (University of Tennessee, University of Oregon, University of Oklahoma and University of Nevada Reno). Open during 4th period for classes only, and lunch for all students. 

• Friday February 28 - UC Berkeley in the library for special college session event to educate students about financial aid and pathways to college. Sign up with Mrs. Fukuda to attend one or both sessions during students electives only. 

• FINANCIAL AID APPLICATIONS (FAFSA AND CADAA) DUE MARCH 3 BY 8:59PM!!! THIS IS THE CALIFORNIA STATE PRIORITY DEADLINE! APPLY SOON!

• Next Parent Workshop Tuesday March 18 6pm - English; 6:40pm - Spanish

  • Topic: What college & scholarships look for in a student's essay

    • Monthly Workshops focused on sharing out info to parents & students about college & career planning in the Library

    • FREE refreshments and parents who attend may be able to participate in an opportunity drawing for a gift card!
